I thought I would do something a little different this time around. Lately, I haven’t been able to devote as much time to my writing as I would like. On January 5th, 2017, my wife and I’s life changed when our son, Hudson, was born.
He was six weeks premature.
So we were in shock as what was supposed to be a check up, turned into having a baby. By the end of the day, my nerves were shot, and I didn’t even give birth to him.
I’m not blaming him.
Even though he was very early, I’m glad we were able to bring him into this world safely. But after the stay in the hospital, we started looking at ways keep him healthier.
I’m getting off track..
I think it goes without saying, but raising my son has taken a lot of my free time. I can’t play video games much or even SLEEP for that matter. But it’s all worth it. Seeing just one of his smiles makes all the sacrifice make sense.
It’s my hope..
-To finish my short story for an upcoming anthology (more on that later).
-To devote more time to writing and editing current work.
-To meet and exceed my writing goals.
If I can take the steps necessary to address these goals, then I’ll be on the right track. For now, please bear with me as I work around any potential issues.
